Longevity Pay Steps. Employees who are on the maximum of the pay range, L1, or L2 and whose pay anniversary date is greater than two (2) years, may be eligible for a ½ pay step (supplement pay). Once the employee completes five (5) years, they may progress to the next step (and the temporary ½ pay step supplement will be removed). An additional longevity Step (L3) will be established. Effective and retroactive to October 1, 2018, employees on L2 and whose pay anniversary date is greater than five (5) years may be eligible to progress to L3. Employees may receive pay step increments for continuous service in the same classification based upon eligibility set forth in the County Pay Plan and Administrative Orders. Eligibility calculations for service in grade requirements are described below.
