Losses in Excess of the Stated Threshold Clause Samples

The 'Losses in Excess of the Stated Threshold' clause establishes that a party's obligation to compensate for losses only arises when the total losses exceed a specified minimum amount, known as the threshold. In practice, this means that minor losses or claims falling below this threshold are not recoverable, and only the portion of losses above the threshold is subject to indemnification or reimbursement. This clause serves to prevent parties from being burdened with trivial claims, ensuring that only significant losses trigger liability and thereby streamlining the claims process.
