Maintaining Competence and Grade. 43.2.1. Operators must work in an area for a minimum of ten shifts each year to retain competency for that area. The Company will endeavour to arrange the roster to ensure that operators have the opportunity to work sufficient shifts to maintain competency in all areas in which they are competent. If the roster cannot be so arranged, operators may maintain competency with such lesser number of shifts as are able to be rostered. Loss of competency for an area may result in an operator being revised downward in grade, depending on the specific requirements for that grade. 43.2.2. Permanent operators will not be moved to a grade below that equivalent to the grade they were at before skills based grading was commenced.

  • Cultural Competence 1. Grantee will make reasonable efforts to provide services that meet each client’s individual needs and takes into consideration the intellectual functioning, literacy, level of education and comprehension ability of each client in order to ensure that all information is presented in a way that meets each client’s individual needs. 2. Grantee will provide services in the client's primary language either directly by Grantee or by a DFPS approved translator. 3.
