Maintaining Records; Access to Properties and Inspections Sample Clauses

The "Maintaining Records; Access to Properties and Inspections" clause requires a party, typically the seller or borrower, to keep accurate and complete records related to the property or transaction and to allow the other party or their representatives reasonable access to the property for inspection purposes. In practice, this means the responsible party must retain documents such as maintenance logs, financial statements, or compliance records, and permit site visits or audits upon request. This clause ensures transparency and accountability, enabling the other party to verify compliance with contractual obligations and assess the condition or status of the property, thereby reducing the risk of undisclosed issues or breaches.
