Common use of Maintenance of Load Control Equipment Clause in Contracts

Maintenance of Load Control Equipment. This clause 5.7 applies until such time as the Code expressly provides for the maintenance of Load Control Equipment. A party providing Load Control Equipment must endeavour in accordance with Good Electricity Industry Practice to ensure that the Load Control Equipment: (a) receives and responds to the appropriate load control signals; (b) properly controls the appropriate load; and (c) is otherwise fit for purpose.
