Maintenance/Operation Sample Clauses

A Maintenance/Operation clause defines the responsibilities and standards for maintaining and operating equipment, property, or systems covered by an agreement. It typically outlines which party is responsible for routine upkeep, repairs, and compliance with applicable regulations or manufacturer guidelines. For example, in a lease, the tenant may be required to keep the premises in good condition, while the landlord handles major structural repairs. The core function of this clause is to allocate responsibility for ongoing care and ensure that assets remain functional and in good condition throughout the contract term, thereby preventing disputes over neglect or deterioration.
