A full and up to date inventory of the Computer Equipment must be kept at all times. This may be required by the insurance section to substantiate a claim and used as evidence of ownership. Items such as cash, crossed cheques, postal orders, meal vouchers, travel vouchers and current postage stamps should be stored in a locked safe. The limit for cash in locked safes up to £30,000. In locked receptacles for cash is up to £1,200. Please note that if the school is keeping more than £2,000 in a locked safe the Insurance Team should be put on notice.
