Common use of Management of Project Clause in Contracts

Management of Project. (a) The Recipient acknowledges and agrees that it undertakes the Project entirely at its own cost and risk. (b) The Recipient will be solely responsible for: (i) the management of the Project; (ii) any funds required for the Completion of the Project in addition to the Funding Amount; (iii) any and all liabilities and obligations associated with the Project, including its obligations under this Agreement; and (iv) if the Proposal includes any ground-based or airborne geophysical surveys over or in respect of any Other Titles, managing any arrangements or agreements that it has with the holders of the Other Titles and for resolving any disputes that may arise between the Recipient and the holders of the Other Titles in connection with the Project, the Funding Amount or this Agreement. (c) The Recipient acknowledges and agrees that: (i) the Department has no obligations in relation to the Project other than to pay the Funding Amount in accordance with clause 5; and (ii) the funding or any other support given to the Recipient by the Department under this Agreement will not affect any obligation the Recipient has in relation to the Titles or the Project, whether pursuant to applicable Laws or otherwise.
