MANAGERIAL POLICY. Except as specifically provided by the terms of this Agreement, it is understood and agreed that the management of the School District, the direction of the working forces, including the right to hire, promote, demote, suspend, transfer, or discharge for cause, the right to determine the methods, means, and number of personnel needed to carry out the obligations of the Board, the rights specifically enumerated in Section 702 of the Act (as the same may be amended from time to time), and the right to maintain order, safety, and efficiency in its buildings and operations, are all vested exclusively in the Board.
MANAGERIAL POLICY. It is also agreed that the Association will not require the Board to bargain over matters of inherent managerial policy.
MANAGERIAL POLICY. The Board shall not be required to bargain over matters of inherent managerial policy, which shall include such areas of discretion or policy as the functions of employer, standards of services, its overall budget, the organization’s structure, selection of new employees and direction of employees.

  • Policy Grievance Where either Party disputes the general application, interpretation or alleged violation of an article of this Agreement, the dispute shall be discussed initially with the Employer or the Union, as the case may be, within thirty (30) days of the occurrence. Where no satisfactory agreement is reached, either Party may submit the dispute to arbitration, as set out in Article 10.

  • Policy Grievances ‌ Where either party to this agreement disputes the general application, interpretation or alleged violation of an article of this agreement, the dispute shall be discussed initially with the Board of Directors Human Resources Representative (or designate) or the Union within 30 calendar days of the occurrence. Where no satisfactory agreement is reached, either party, within a further 14 calendar days, may submit the dispute to arbitration, as set out in Article 9 of this agreement.

  • Management; Community Policies Owner may retain employees and management agents from time to time to manage the Property, and Owner’s agent may retain other employees or contractors. Resident, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her Guests, agrees to comply fully with all directions from Owner and its employees and agents, and the rules and regulations (including all amendments and additions thereto, except those that substantially modify the Resident’s bargain and to which Resident timely objects) as contained in this Agreement and the Community Policies of the Property.   • Policy Grievance – Union Grievance The Union may institute a grievance alleging a general misinterpretation or violation of this Agreement by the Employer by submitting a written grievance at Step No. 1 within twenty (20) days after the circumstances have occurred. This section shall not apply to disciplinary grievances or application of competitive clauses under this Agreement.

  • Alcohol Policy Where contractually bound, the employer will apply the Drug and Alcohol Management Program (DAMP) as contained at Appendix M.
