Common use of Manner of Taking Poll Clause in Contracts

Manner of Taking Poll. Subject to Article 11.18, if a poll is duly demanded at a meeting of shareholders: 1. the poll must be taken: a) at the meeting, or within seven days after the date of the meeting, as the chair of the meeting directs; and b) in the manner, at the time and at the place that the chair of the meeting directs; 2. the result of the poll is deemed to be the decision of the meeting at which the poll is demanded; and 3. the demand for the poll may be withdrawn by the person who demanded it.
