Common use of Mark-up Clause in Contracts

Mark-up. The term “Mark-Up” means the full amount of compensation that Design Build Entity is entitled to for mark-up on Extra Work for overhead and profit, that is not included in the Direct Cost of Work of Extra Work. Mark-Up shall instead be calculated as set forth in the “Mark-Up for Direct Cost of Work for Extra Work” section in these General Conditions.
