Common use of MASS GRADING Clause in Contracts

MASS GRADING. Provide a standard bubble map, as part of the plans, showing locations of numbered points, and a table with point number, northing and easting coordinates, description, and BL station for each point, for the following: ▪ all platted control irons (set or not), including plat boundary irons, for the entire sub-division, not just the current phase ▪ benchmarks, including TBM set with preliminary survey ▪ all lot corners ▪ any grade breaks between front & rear lot corners ▪ high points/low points within drainage easements ▪ street area o centerline @ 100’ Sta on tangent sections o pc/pt points & 50’ along curves ▪ special drainage ▇▇▇▇▇▇ o pc/pt points, pi’s & 50’ Sta in between ▪ ponds o any grades breaks between pond bottom and rear property line o pc/mid radius/pt around pond curves ▪ for irregular shaped lots (mainly commercial or industrial developments) provide TIN file
