Common use of Matching Grant Clause in Contracts

Matching Grant. All grants under the DM Façade Improvement Program are 50/50 matching grants which means that the applicant must match dollar for dollar the amount of the grant. By way of example only, if the Eligible Reimbursements for a project are $30,000, the maximum amount of the grant would be $15,000, and the remaining $15,000 must be paid by the applicant and would not be eligible for reimbursement. All of the applicant’s match must be for Work in connection with Eligible Reimbursements within the scope of work proposed in the application. All of the applicant’s match must be monetary.
