Common use of Maximum Accruals Clause in Contracts

Maximum Accruals. a. Eligible employees who work 40 hours per week and who have worked fewer than 3 years may accrue up to 160 hours of vacation. b. Eligible employees who work 40 hours per week and who have worked more than 3 years may accrue up to 208 hours of vacation. c. Eligible employees working less than 40 hours per week may accumulate a maximum up to the pro-rated equivalent of the above caps. d. Accrual of hours will stop when an employee reaches the limits noted above. Accrual will resume when vacation hours fall below these maximum accruals.
