Common use of Maximum Charge Clause in Contracts

Maximum Charge. Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this Section, in no event shall the amounts charged under this Section exceed the maximum amount which may be lawfully charged by Landlord under applicable law. In the event the amounts provided for under this Section shall exceed such lawful charge, then the amounts payable under this Section shall be reduced to the maximum amount of such lawful charge.
