Maximum Number of Performances.
(A) Within Three Consecutive Days No Artist shall be required to give more than five (5) performances in three (3) consecutive days.
(B) Consecutive Double Performance Days Where four (4) performances are given on two (2) consecutive days, the succeeding day must be either:
(i) a Free Day; or
(ii) a travel day (non-performance, non-rehearsal day) provided that the day following such travel day is a Free Day.
Maximum Number of Performances.
(a) Except as set forth in the following sentence, the ARTIST may be required to take part in not more than seven (7) performances per week on tour and not more than eight (8) performances per week in the City of Origination. However, if the ARTIST shall be required to take part in more than seven (7) performances in any week while on tour or more than eight (8) performances in any week in the City of Origination, t hey shall be paid not less than one-sixth (1/6th) of their agreed-upon weekly compensation for each such additional performance.
(b) No ARTIST shall be required to perform in more than two (2) full performances per day.
Maximum Number of Performances. Articles 19.01(A) and (C) do not apply to Educational/Special Performances.
(A) There will be a maximum of eight (8) Performances in six (6) consecutive days or eleven (11) Performances in nine (9) consecutive days. For the first Performance over the limitations stated above, the Artist shall receive an additional one-eighth (1/8) of the Artist’s weekly salary.
(B) There will be a maximum of two (2) Performances per day.
(C) Where four (4) Performances are given in two (2) consecutive days, the succeeding day will be a Free Day. Travel may be scheduled on that day but then the succeeding day will be a Free Day. For an infraction over the limitations stated above, the Artist shall receive an additional one-sixth (1/6) of the Artist’s weekly salary and the succeeding day will be a Free Day.
(D) For any Performance on a Free Day, the Artist shall receive an additional one-sixth (1/6) of the Artist’s weekly contractual fee.
Maximum Number of Performances. Clauses 19:01(A) and (C) do not apply to Educational/Special performances.

Maximum Number of Performances. The Artist may be required to take part in not more than eight (8) performances per week. If the Artist shall be required to take part in more than eight (8) performances in any week, he/she shall be paid not less than one-seventh (1/7th) of his/her agreed upon weekly compensation for each such additional performance. Each Artist shall receive during Performance Weeks one (1) Free Day as defined herein.

Unless otherwise stated in the Producer’s rider, the workweek shall consist of no more than the below- listed number of performances, performed in no more than six days. There shall be no more than two performances on any one day and no more than five performances in any three consecutive days. (But see Rule 10(D), BREAKS AND REST PERIODS.) Except by written permission of Equity, all performance days within each week shall be consecutive. The Actor shall have a full day off in each workweek in addition to the standard 12-hour rest break.
Maximum Number of Performances. The ARTIST may be required to take part in not more than seven (7) performances per week on tour and not more than eight (8) performances per week in the City of Origin. If the ARTIST is required to take part in more than seven (7) performances in any week (Monday through Sunday) while on tour or more than eight (8) performances in any week in the City of Origin, they shall be paid not less than one-sixth (1/6th) of their weekly compensation for each such additional performance, performance within that Monday through Sunday week, regardless of whether or not the ARTIST receives a Free Day, except as provided for Production Stage Managers and Stage Managers in Article 44.(a)(D) of this Agreement. As a rule, EMPLOYER will not require an ARTIST to take part in more than eight (8) performances without being given a Free Day. If an ARTIST is required to perform in excess of eight (8) performances before receiving a Free Day, the EMPLOYER will compensate the ARTIST at (1/6th) of their weekly compensation each for the ninth (9th) performance and the tenth (10th) performance, except as provided for Stage Managers in Article 44.(a)(D) of this Agreement. If an ARTIST is required to perform in excess of ten (10) performances before receiving a Free Day, the EMPLOYER will compensate the ARTIST at the penalty rate for each hour the ARTIST is required to perform until such time as the ARTIST receives a Free Day. At no time shall an ARTIST be required to perform on more than eight (8) consecutive workdays without a Free Day, as set forth in Article 17.(n) of this Agreement.

This provision shall not apply to performances of ninety (90) minutes or less in the EMPLOYERS studios, in which case ARTIST may not be required to take part in more than nine (9) performances per week, and there shall be not less than one-half (1/2) hour break before one-half (1/2) hour call of the next performance (total of one hour between performances).
b. No ARTIST shall be required to perform in more than two (2) full performances per day. During NUTCRACKER, an ARTIST may be required to perform in three (3) full performances in a day and shall be paid an additional one fifth (1/5) of their agreed-upon weekly compensation, in addition to any other fees, overtime, penalty pay or special rates required by the collective bargaining agreement, as well as the additional compensation required by Paragraph 36(a).
