Common use of Measurements Clause in Contracts

Measurements. Before ordering any material or performing any Work, the Contractor shall verify all measurements on the Project and shall be responsible for the accuracy of same. No extra charge or compensation shall be allowed because of any difference between actual dimensions and the measurements indicated in the drawings or specifications. Any discrepancies shall be submitted in writing to the Architect and Owner for consideration before proceeding with the Work.
