Mechanics and Welders. Any Mechanic and/or Welder who is required to perform work off the company premises shall receive a premium of three dollars ($3.00) per hour.
Mechanics and Welders. In the case of installation work involving extensive ironwork, the firms may need to hire mechanics and welders to carry out this work. Skilled workers are to be paid according to § 3, skilled worker wages, and are to take part in the joint piecework according to the Agreement’s provisions. The criterion for being acknowledged as a skilled worker is a passed qualifying examination in accordance with the Training Act following a completed apprenticeship under contract, or work experience in accordance with the Act.
Mechanics and Welders. During snow storms and/or snow clearing operations, mechanics and welders may be required to work on any machinery or equipment not directly involved in snow clearing or emergency operations on other than their regularly scheduled shift provided that this work is assigned in the first eight (8) hours of overtime. If additional continuous hours overtime are required, mechanics and welders will be required to work only on equipment used for snow storms and/or snow clearing operations. This article does not apply to employees called in specifically to work on other equipment. Such employees shall only work on that equipment unless no other mechanics or welders are available for call in to work on snow clearing machinery and equipment.
