MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDINGS Sample Clauses

A Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) clause sets out the intention of the parties to record their mutual understanding and preliminary agreements before entering into a formal contract. This clause typically outlines the key points of consensus, such as the scope of collaboration, responsibilities, and timelines, without creating legally binding obligations. Its core practical function is to provide a clear framework for negotiations, ensuring that all parties are aligned on fundamental terms and reducing the risk of misunderstandings as discussions progress.
