Common use of Merger or Amalgamation Clause in Contracts

Merger or Amalgamation. The Employer agrees that in the event of a full or partial merger or amalgamation with any other employer or entity that it will make reasonable efforts to ensure that employees in the bargaining unit are offered positions with the other employer or entity on terms and conditions of employment that match those contained in this collective agreement.
