Meteorological conditions Clause Samples

The 'Meteorological conditions' clause defines how weather-related factors are addressed within the context of an agreement or contract. It typically outlines the procedures and responsibilities for parties when adverse weather, such as heavy rain, snow, or extreme temperatures, impacts the performance of contractual obligations—often in construction or outdoor event contracts. By specifying what constitutes adverse meteorological conditions and how delays or damages are managed, this clause helps allocate risk and provides clarity on how weather disruptions are handled, reducing disputes and ensuring fair treatment for all parties involved.
Meteorological conditions. Metrological conditions are specified to provide a range of normal operating temperatures and to prevent abnormal readings due to extreme environmental conditions.
Meteorological conditions. 2.2.1. For outdoor facilities Metrological conditions are specified to provide a range of normal operating temperatures and to prevent abnormal readings due to extreme environmental conditions. The meteorological instrumentation shall deliver data representative for the test site and shall be positioned adjacent to the test area at a height representative of the height of the measuring microphone.
Meteorological conditions. Meteorology is the key to understand the air quality. The essential relationship between meteorology and atmospheric dispersion involves the wind in the broadest sense. Wind fluctuations over a very wide range of time accomplish dispersion and strongly influence other processes associated with them. Meteorological data was collected from various secondary sources. Meteorological data collected is during the Summer season monitoring period. The following parameters were recorded at hourly intervals continuously during monitoring period: ✓ Wind speed ✓ Wind Direction ✓ Temperature etc. Site specific climatic condition refers to average weather comprising of temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, rainfall, cloud cover etc. This determines the baseline conditions and probable impacts on environmental parameters with respect to the Project. Monthly variations of monthly highest and monthly lowest temperature recorded are as followed:
Meteorological conditions. Temperature, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, humidity, and sky condition (i.e. percent cloud cover), all in general terms.
Meteorological conditions. The table below summarizes the temperature basis: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Process Design Mechanical Design ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Min.(degrees)F Min.(degrees)F Min.(degrees)F Min.(degrees)F --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Winterizing 20 --- 20 --- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ambient Average(3) 56 86 N/A N/A --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equipment Data Sheets Ambient Temp.(1) 20 104 20 104 Design Metal Spec.(2) -20 --- -20 --- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pipe Expansion 20 --- 20 104 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Air Cooler Design 20 l00(4) 20 104 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cooling Tower Wet Bulb 82.5 --- --- --- Dry Bulb 95 --- --- --- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Air Compressor 20 100 20 104 Relative Humidity 100 100 100 100 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (1) Used for mechanical hardware, electronics, pump windings, etc. (2) Minimum design metal temperatures for data sheets (3) Used for process heat balance calculations (4) Based on 95(degrees)F ambient and 5(degrees)F air recirculation margin The normal atmospheric pressure is: 14.7 psia (760 mmHg) True elevation for the Facility is: 5 ft above sea level Seismic zone for Port ▇▇▇▇▇▇: 0 per UBC 1997 The wind design shall be: Prevailing Direction: SE Average Velocity, mph: 10 Dispersion or flare design velocity, mph: 17 Mechanical Design, mph: 120 The wind rose data shall be: Direction: True N NE E SE S SW W NW The basic wind speed to be used for structural design shall be based on 120 mph for 100 year recurrence per ASCE 7-95 using the exposure category C and importance factor of 1.05 Wind pressure for various height zones shall be as specified in ASCE 7-95.
Meteorological conditions. The meteorological instrumentation shall deliver data representative of the test site, and shall be positioned adjacent to the test area at a height representative of the height of the measuring microphone. The measurements shall be made when the ambient air temperature is within the range from 5 °C to 45 °C. The tests shall not be carried out if the wind speed, including gusts, at microphone height exceeds 5 m/s, during the noise measurement interval. A value representative of temperature, wind speed and direction, relative humidity and barometric pressure shall be recorded during the noise measurement interval. 1 Independent measurements of speed are when two or more separate devices will determine the values of vAA', vBB' and vPP'. A continuous measuring device such as radar will determine all required speed information with one device.

Related to Meteorological conditions

  • Environmental Conditions A Phase I environmental site assessment (or update of a previous Phase I and or Phase II environmental site assessment) and, with respect to certain Mortgage Loans, a Phase II environmental site assessment (collectively, an “ESA”) meeting ASTM requirements conducted by a reputable environmental consultant in connection with such Mortgage Loan within 12 months prior to its origination date (or an update of a previous ESA was prepared), and such ESA (i) did not identify the existence of recognized environmental conditions (as such term is defined in ASTM E1527-13 or its successor, hereinafter “Environmental Condition”) at the related Mortgaged Property or the need for further investigation, or (ii) if the existence of an Environmental Condition or need for further investigation was indicated in any such ESA, then at least one of the following statements is true: (A) an amount reasonably estimated by a reputable environmental consultant to be sufficient to cover the estimated cost to cure any material noncompliance with applicable Environmental Laws or the Environmental Condition has been escrowed by the related Mortgagor and is held or controlled by the related Mortgagee; (B) if the only Environmental Condition relates to the presence of asbestos-containing materials, radon in indoor air, lead based paint or lead in drinking water, the only recommended action in the ESA is the institution of such a plan, an operations or maintenance plan has been required to be instituted by the related Mortgagor that can reasonably be expected to mitigate the identified risk; (C) the Environmental Condition identified in the related environmental report was remediated or abated in all material respects prior to the date hereof, and, if and as appropriate, a no further action or closure letter was obtained from the applicable governmental regulatory authority (or the environmental issue affecting the related Mortgaged Property was otherwise listed by such governmental authority as “closed” or a reputable environmental consultant has concluded that no further action is required); (D) an environmental policy or a lender’s pollution legal liability insurance policy that covers liability for the identified circumstance or condition was obtained from an insurer rated no less than “A-” (or the equivalent) by ▇▇▇▇▇’▇ Investors Service, Inc., S&P Global Ratings, acting through Standard & Poor’s Financial Services LLC, Fitch Ratings, Inc. and/or A.M. Best Company; (E) a party not related to the Mortgagor was identified as the responsible party for such condition or circumstance and such responsible party has financial resources reasonably estimated to be adequate to address the situation; or (F) a party related to the Mortgagor having financial resources reasonably estimated to be adequate to address the situation is required to take action. To the Mortgage Loan Seller’s knowledge, except as set forth in the ESA, there is no Environmental Condition (as such term is defined in ASTM E1527-13 or its successor) at the related Mortgaged Property.

  • Emergency Medical Condition a medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in the following: a) Placing the health of the individual (or, with respect to a pregnant woman, the health of the woman or her unborn child) in serious jeopardy; b) Serious impairment to bodily functions; or c) Serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part.
