Common use of Method of Application Clause in Contracts

Method of Application. (a) A teacher who wishes to teach one (1) semester and take a leave of absence in the other and retain a full-time credit in accordance with the Teachers' Pension Act may make a request, in writing, through his/her principal to the Superintendent of Employee Services stating his/her wish for such a leave of absence. (b) The Superintendent shall consider such criteria as are normally considered in allocating staff and may recommend the granting of the request to the Board.
