Microsoft Intune (Device SLs) Clause Samples

The 'Microsoft Intune (Device SLs)' clause defines the licensing terms for using Microsoft Intune on a per-device basis through Device Subscription Licenses (SLs). This clause specifies that organizations can manage and secure devices, such as laptops or smartphones, by assigning a license to each device rather than to individual users. For example, a shared device in a workplace can be covered by a single Device SL, regardless of how many users access it. The core function of this clause is to provide flexible and cost-effective licensing options for organizations with shared devices, ensuring compliance and simplifying license management.
Microsoft Intune (Device SLs). Microsoft Intune for Devices is a new Intune service. Microsoft Intune (Device SLs), as an alternative to User SLs, are no longer available. Customers with existing Microsoft Intune (Device SLs) can continue to use them subject to the Use Rights in the October 2018 OST. The service may be used under Microsoft Intune (Device SLs) acquired via true-up rights subject to those same Use Rights. Table of Contents / Glossary / Index Microsoft Learning
