Common use of Minimum Balance Clause in Contracts

Minimum Balance. 8.1 The Bank may set a minimum balance to be maintained in the Account of which the said minimum balance may vary from one Account type to another. The minimum balance shall be subject to change from time to time upon notification to the Account holder. 8.2 In the event any requests for Card Transactions exceed the minimum balance in the Account, the said transaction shall be declined due to insufficient fund in the Account.
