Minimum Break between Shifts. A penal rate shall be payable at half the Ordinary Hourly Rate of pay as follows: • Where an Employee is requested by their salaried manager and subsequently agrees to start work before the Employee has completed an interval of at least 9 consecutive hours rest from his/her/their previous finishing time. Where possible, the confirmation of the request should be in writing including by text and/or email. • This penal rate ceases at the end of the shift worked immediately after the 9 hour break has not occurred.
