Common use of Minimum Break between Shifts Clause in Contracts

Minimum Break between Shifts. Every endeavour will be made to provide an employee with a 10 hour break between shifts. An employee directed to recommence ordinary hours work without a 10 hour break will receive the ordinary rate of pay plus 100% for all time worked until such time as a break of not less than 10 hours has been received.
