Common use of Minimums Clause in Contracts

Minimums. The terms hereof are intended to cover only minimums in wages, hours, working conditions, and other employee benefits. The Employer may place superior wages, hours, working conditions and other employee benefits in effect and may reduce the same to the minimums herein prescribed, without the consent of the Union, provided however that for a period of (90) days after the execution of this agreement, the Employer agrees to refrain from reducing the hourly wages to above scale employees. This clause shall not be construed to changes contemplated or effected by the employer which may modify the traditional operation of the basic terms and conditions herein set forth.
