Common use of Modification of License Clause in Contracts

Modification of License. Only written modification of this License duly authorized and signed by Licensor and Licensee shall be effective. No writing shall constitute a modification unless the writing is expressly identified as a modification with specific reference to the provisions of this License to be modified. No modification shall be effective prior to the date the modification is signed by Licensor and Licensee, unless the modification expressly provides.
