Common use of Modification of the License Clause in Contracts

Modification of the License. a) The Licensor may modify this License in accordance with section 40 of the Uganda Communications ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ and the Regulations, if the Licensor determines that such modification is necessary to achieve the objectives of the Act and Regulations, or is in the public interest, taking into account the reasonable interest and contractual rights of the Licensee and the principles of fair competition and equality of treatment. b) Before modifying any terms and conditions, the Licensor shall give the Licensee notice of not less than Sixty (60) days stating the reasons for the intended modification and giving the Licensee an opportunity to make representations.
