Month Clause Samples
The 'Month' clause defines how the term 'month' is to be interpreted within the contract. Typically, it clarifies whether a month refers to a calendar month or a specific number of days (such as 30 days), and may specify how start and end dates are calculated when a period of months is referenced. For example, if an obligation is due 'one month' after a certain event, this clause ensures all parties understand the exact deadline. Its core function is to prevent ambiguity regarding time periods, ensuring that all parties have a clear and consistent understanding of contractual timelines.
