Common use of Monthly Progress Payments Clause in Contracts

Monthly Progress Payments. Progress payments may be claimed on a monthly basis for all costs authorized in 1 and 2 above. The monthly billing shall be supported by detailed statements for hours expended at the rates established in Schedule 1, including names and classifications of all employees, and billing for all direct non-salary expenses. To provide a means of verifying the billed salary costs for the Consultant’s employees, the Port may conduct employee interviews. These interviews may consist of recording the names, titles, salary rates, and present duties of those employees performing the Work on the Project at the time of the interview. The Consultant shall direct its employees to cooperate and provide this information when requested by the Port.
