Common use of Monthly Tenancy Clause in Contracts

Monthly Tenancy. If the Tenant continues to occupy the Premises after the Term with the Landlord's consent then: (a) the Tenant does so as a monthly tenant on the same basis as at the last day of the Term; and (b) either party may terminate the monthly tenancy by giving to the other 1 months’ notice expiring on any day.
