Common use of Monthly Tenancy Clause in Contracts

Monthly Tenancy. If the Tenant shall continue to occupy the premises after the expiration of the term of this lease, with the consent of the Landlord and without any further written agreement, the Tenant shall be a monthly tenant at a monthly rental equal to 120% of the monthly instalments of base rental payable on the last monthly payment date during the term of any renewal thereof, together with additional rent payable hereunder during the term hereby granted or any renewal thereof, such rental to be payable in advance on the first day of each and every month and such monthly tenancy to be on the terms and conditions and subject to all other charges and amounts payable herein set out except as to length of tenancy.
