When You Have More Than One Plan with BCBSRI If you are covered under more than one plan with us, you are entitled to covered benefits under both plans. If one plan has a benefit that the other(s) does not, you are entitled to coverage under the plan that has the benefit. The total payments you receive will never be more than the total allowable expense for the services you receive.
Years If the employee has ten (10) years but less than sixteen (16) years of continuous service with the Employer, the employee shall be entitled to a lump sum payment equal to seven (7) months pay at the rate of pay the employee was earning at the time the position became redundant or surplus.
BEGINNING TEACHERS 1. Beginning teachers shall be provided with specific teaching conditions to help them in their adjustment to teaching. The specific conditions shall include, but not be limited to a teaching assignment wherein: a. the most demanding classes are not their responsibility, and b. the number of subject preparations are kept to a minimum. 2. The Board and Union shall jointly design mentoring and induction programs.
consecutive months If the Employer extends an individual employee’s trial service period, the Employer will provide the employee with written reasons for the extension. Employees in an in-training appointment will follow the provisions outlined in Subsection 4.3 E.
months The provisions of the Contract will apply (subject to any Variation or adjustment to the Contract Price pursuant to clause C4 (Price adjustment on extension of the Initial Contract Period)) throughout any such extended period.
