The use of educational technology to deliver on-line courses is a recognized method of instructional delivery. Teaching on-line shall be a matter of instructor choice. All work involving the development or delivery of on-line courses and programs shall be posted in accordance with the Collective Agreement. All employees who develop course material shall have the right of first refusal to instruct the courses they have developed. In the event of layoff, Article will apply. Instructors shall be provided with all equipment required for course delivery, including technical support, by the institution. Technical support shall be provided to all instructors who are developing or delivering on-line courses; and instructors shall not be required to provide technical support to students in their courses. In addition, the College will provide for the invigilation of tests, exams and other supervised assignments. A class contact hour is defined as fifty to sixty (50 to 60) minutes in a regularly scheduled activity for which students have registered.   • Safety Program The Contractor shall design a specific safety program for the Work for the site(s). The Contractor shall establish and require all Subcontractors to establish reasonable safety programs. The Contractor shall also submit its standard monthly safety reports to the Owner and Design Professional. No imposition of responsibility on the Contractor for safety under this Contract shall relieve any subcontractor of its responsibility for safety of persons or property on or near the Project Site. The Contractor shall include in his plant he names of the person in charge of Safety.

  • Pilot Programs The Employer may develop voluntary pilot programs to test the acceptability of various risk management programs. Incentives for participation in such programs may include limited short-term improvements to the benefits outlined in this Article. Implementation of such pilot programs is subject to the review and approval of the Joint Labor-Management Committee on Health Plans.
