Common use of National Objectives Clause in Contracts

National Objectives. The Subrecipient agrees to maintain documentation that demonstrates that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement meet one or more of the purposes of the ESG program which include the following: - 1) to help improve the quality of existing emergency shelters for the homeless; 2) to help make available additional emergency shelters; 3) to help meet the costs of operating emergency shelters and providing certain essential social services to homeless individuals and; 4) to restrict the increase of homelessness through the funding of preventive programs and activities.
