Common use of National Terms of Connection Clause in Contracts

National Terms of Connection. The Supplier is acting on behalf of the local Electricity Distributor to make an agreement with the Generator. The agreement is that the Generator and its Electricity Distributor both accept the National Terms of Connection (NTC) and agree to keep to its conditions. This will happen from the time that the Generator enters into this contract and it affects the legal rights of the Generator. The NTC is a legal agreement. It sets out rights and duties in relation to the connection at which the Electricity Distributor delivers electricity to, or accepts electricity from, the Generators premises.
