Nature of Coverage. The foregoing insurance coverage will be primary and non-contributing with respect to any other insurance or self-insurance that may be maintained by Client. Each such insurance policy carried by Company will grant waiver of subrogation in favor of Client and will not exclude claims brought in the United States. The insurers selected by each party will have an A.M. Best rating of A- or better or, if such ratings are no longer available, with a comparable rating from a recognized insurance rating agency. If any of the foregoing insurance coverage is maintained on claims-made basis, such policy or policies will contain a retroactive date not later than the effective date of the Agreement, and will remain in force until a period of at least three (3) years after termination or expiration of this Agreement. Nature of Coverage. 3.1.1 Kirkland shall maintain liability coverage via membership in the Washington Cities Insurance Authority, a self-insurance risk pool, for the liabilities contractually assumed by Kirkland in this Agreement, and, arising out of the activities pertaining to this Agreement. 3.1.2 By requiring such liability coverage, Seattle shall not be deemed to, or construed to, have assessed the risks that may be applicable to Kirkland in this Agreement. Kirkland shall assess its own risks and, if it deems appropriate and/or prudent, maintain greater limits or broader coverage than is herein specified.
Nature of Coverage. (a) The District shall maintain commercial general liability coverage or shall obtain a coverage agreement through a Risk Pool authorized by Chapter 39.34 RCW which shall provide liability coverage to the District for the liabilities contractually assumed by the District in this Agreement, and arising out of the activities pertaining to this Agreement. (b) By requiring such liability coverage, the District shall not be deemed to, or construed to, have assessed the risks that may be applicable to the City in this Agreement. The City shall assess its own risks and, if it deems appropriate and/or prudent, maintain greater limits or broader coverage than is herein specified.
Nature of Coverage. On and after the Effective Date, the Reinsured’s liability, for the Reinsurer’s Reinsured Percentage, for certain monthly income benefits for the Policies qualifying as Covered Business under Schedule A – Covered Business hereto, and either Automatically Reinsured, in accordance with Article V- Acceptance of Reinsurance, sub-section 5.01, or accepted as Facultative Reinsurance by the Reinsurer under Article V- Acceptance of Reinsurance, sub-section 5.02, shall be ceded to and reinsured by the Reinsurer, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

By requiring such liability coverage, the City 25 of Lynnwood shall not be deemed to, or construed to, have assessed the risks that may be 26 applicable to the District in this Agreement. The District shall assess its own risks and, if it 27 deems appropriate and/or prudent, maintain greater limits or broader coverage than is herein 28 specified.
Nature of Coverage. The aforementioned insurance shall include coverage (a) Statutory workers' compensation and employers' liability. (b) Commercial general and auto liability insurance with limits of not less than TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($2,000,000.00) combined single limit, bodily injury and property damage liability per occurrence, including: (1) owned, non-owned and hired vehicles; (2) blanket contractual; (3) broad form property damage; (4) products/completed operations; and (5) personal injury.
Nature of Coverage. This policy is not a general health insurance policy. Coverage is intended for use by the insured in the event of a sudden an unexpected sickness or accident arising when the Insured is outside of his Home Country.

  • Scope of Coverage 1. This Section shall apply to an investment dispute between a Member State and an investor of another Member State that has incurred loss or damage by reason of an alleged breach of any rights conferred by this Agreement with respect to the investment of that investor. 2. A natural person possessing the nationality or citizenship of a Member State shall not pursue a claim against that Member State under this Section. 3. This Section shall not apply to claims arising out of events which occurred, or claims which have been raised prior to the entry into force of this Agreement. 4. Nothing in this Section shall be construed so as to prevent a disputing investor from seeking administrative or judicial settlement available within the country of a disputing Member State.

  • Evidence of Coverage Prior to commencement of this Agreement, the Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance certifying that coverage as required herein has been obtained. Individual endorsements executed by the insurance carrier shall accompany the certificate. In addition, a certified copy of the policy or policies shall be provided by the Contractor upon request. This verification of coverage shall be sent to the requesting County department, unless otherwise directed. The Contractor shall not receive a Notice to Proceed with the work under the Agreement until it has obtained all insurance required and such insurance has been approved by the County. This approval of insurance shall neither relieve nor decrease the liability of the Contractor.

  • Terms of Coverage The plan takes effect upon check-in on the booked arrival date to an iTrip unit. All coverage shall terminate upon normal check-out time of the iTrip unit or the departure of the Covered Guest, whichever occurs first.

  • Commencement of Coverage Coverage under the provisions of this article shall apply to regular full-time and regular part-time employees who work 15 regular hours or more per week and shall commence on the first day of the calendar month immediately following the completion of the employee's probationary period.
