Negotiation Schedule. In accordance with BMC § 2.32, the parties shall meet at mutually agreeable times in 2026 in order to negotiate a collective bargaining agreement to take effect January 1, 2027. In the event that a new agreement is not reached before December 31, 2026, then the terms and provisions of this Agreement shall nonetheless remain in full force and effect until an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement is reached; provided, however, the terms and conditions of the Agreement shall not be extended for more than one year from the expiration of this Agreement.
