New Assignment. A teacher who has been given a different assignment during the school year may be given release time for a period of orientation at the discretion of the Superintendent. A teacher entering the system during the school year or one who has been given a different assignment during the school year may be paid for a period of orientation when it has been authorized by the Superintendent.
