Common use of New or Additional Taxes Clause in Contracts

New or Additional Taxes. Tenant's obligation to pay Taxes and Assessments shall include any Taxes and Assessments of a nature not presently in effect but which may hereafter be levied, assessed or imposed upon Landlord or upon the Demised Premises if such tax shall be based upon or arise out of the ownership, use or operation of or the rents received from the Demised Premises, other than income taxes of Landlord. For the purposes of computing Tenant's liability for such new type of tax or assessment, the Demised Premises shall be deemed the only property of Landlord.
