No Authority to Bind. The Vendor provides the Goods to DBS as an independent contractor and is not and shall not be taken to be in partnership or in a joint venture with DBS or an employee, servant or agent of DBS. Neither party shall have the authority to bind or commit or purport to bind or commit the other party in any way or pledge the credit of the other party for any purpose.
