Nominee Name Clause Samples

The Nominee Name clause designates an individual or entity to act on behalf of another party in relation to certain rights, assets, or interests specified in the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the authority granted to the nominee, such as holding shares, property, or other assets in their name for the benefit of the actual owner, and may detail the nominee's responsibilities and limitations. Its core practical function is to facilitate arrangements where the true owner wishes to remain anonymous or for administrative convenience, ensuring that legal title can be held by the nominee while the beneficial interest remains with the original party.
