Common use of Non-Emergent Clause in Contracts

Non-Emergent. Medical Transportation (NEMT) (1) As part of the approval process, the Contractor shall: (a) Verify the member’s eligibility for NEMT services; (b) Determine the appropriate mode of transportation for the member; (c) Determine the appropriate level of service for the member; (d) Approve or deny the request; and (e) Enter the appropriate information into the Contractor’s system.
