Common use of Non-Exclusive Trait Categories Clause in Contracts

Non-Exclusive Trait Categories. (a) During the Research Term, Maxygen may conduct research with Zeneca on a non-exclusive basis in connection with the Research Program in the following Trait Categories: [*******]. In the case of [*******], it is understood and agreed that the research activities, if any, conducted in these areas shall be in the specific Reserved Projects identified by the Parties as set forth in Section 2.1.1(b). (b) In addition, during the Research Term, subject to the provisions of this Section 2.7.2(b) and the payment of additional amounts for Research Program funding as set forth in Section 4.3.1
