Common use of Non-Reappointment Clause in Contracts

Non-Reappointment. Faculty appointments in the non-tenure track shall be reviewed annually by the Chair and the ▇▇▇▇, respectively. If applicable, University must give notice of non-reappointment to full-time faculty no less than four months prior to August 31 of each year, i.e., no later than April 30. After a period of five academic years of service in the full-time non-tenure track at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor level, a notice of non-reappointment will be issued no less than one year prior to August 31 of each year, as outlined in TTUHSC at El Paso Operating Policy 60.01.
