Non Standby Call-Out. A Non Standby Call-Out is defined as any situation requiring a nurse to be called-out by an authorized official of the Employer to do work for the Employer outside regular working hours. A nurse called out to perform work shall be paid, or take time in lieu, at the applicable overtime rate and shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours of work. For further clarification, payment of call-out shall commence upon the nurse’s acceptance of said call and given that the nurse responds in a reasonable time frame and terminates when a nurse leaves the workplace.
