Nondiscrimination in Housing. The Project Developer certifies that in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 760, Part II, Florida Statutes, as amended, it is unlawful to discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, color, age, sex, marital status, familial status, national origin, or handicap in the award application process for eligible housing.‌

Unwed parents, families with children born out of wedlock, and recipients of public assistance shall not be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of, the CONTINUM OF CARE RENTAL ASSISTANCE Rental Assistance Program because of such status. (c) The HRA shall comply with all requirements imposed by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Public Law 88- 352, Public Law 90-284; the regulations of the Department issued thereunder, 24 CFR, Subtitle A, Part 1, Section 1.1, et seq.; the requirements of said Department pursuant to said regulations; and Executive Order 11063 to the end that, in accordance with that Act, the regulations and requirements of said Department thereunder, and said Executive Order, no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, or disability, be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of, the Programs, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination. This provision is included pursuant to the regulations of the Department, 24 CFR, Subtitle A, Part 1, Section 1.1, et seq.; issued under Title VI of the said Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the requirements of the Department pursuant to said regulations; and the obligation of the HRA to comply therewith insured to the benefit of the Department and the City, either of which shall be entitled to invoke any remedies available by law to redress any breach thereof or to compel compliance therewith by the HRA.

  • Nondiscrimination The Contractor, with regard to the work performed by it during the Contract, will not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurements of materials and leases of equipment. The Contractor will not participate directly or indirectly in the discrimination prohibited by the Acts and the Regulations, including employment practices when the Contract covers any activity, project, or program set forth in Appendix B of 49 CFR Part 21.

  • Nondiscrimination in Employment Consultant shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on any basis prohibited by law. Contractor shall provide equal opportunity in all employment practices. Consultants shall ensure that their subcontractors comply with this program. Nothing in this Section shall be interpreted to hold a Consultant liable for any discriminatory practice of its subcontractors.

  • Nondiscrimination Requirement During the term of this Contract, Contractor, including any subcontractor, shall not discriminate on the bases enumerated at RCW 49.60.530(3). In addition, Contractor, including any subcontractor, shall give written notice of this nondiscrimination requirement to any labor organizations with which Contractor, or subcontractor, has a collective bargaining or other agreement.
