Normal Duties. A) No employee covered by this Agreement shall be required to perform duties not associated with: 1) Firefighting, fire prevention, maintenance of firefighting apparatus, equipment, tools, or facilities, and other duties as are necessary for the efficient operation of the Fire Department; or 2) Emergency first aid, paramedic (if certified), and rescue duties in connection with the operation of the Fire Department; or 3) Demonstrations or instructions to the public or various organizations concerning public safety; or 4) Other duties included in the goals and mission of the Department as set forth in the Fire Department’s mission statement as mutually agreed to by the parties.
