Not Work-related/ Personal Sample Clauses

The 'Not Work-related/Personal' clause defines the boundaries between activities or items that are related to work and those that are personal in nature. Typically, this clause clarifies that certain resources, communications, or actions are not to be considered part of an employee's official work duties or responsibilities. For example, it may specify that personal emails sent from a work account are not covered by company policies on work product, or that personal property brought to the workplace is not the employer's responsibility. The core function of this clause is to prevent confusion or disputes over what is considered work-related versus personal, thereby protecting both the employer and employee from unintended obligations or liabilities.
